 RAGDEVGRU

militibus facimus (forging warriors)

SpecOps Outdoors is a one-of-a-kind group experience that challenges every individual and group as they tackle realistic small unit missions against an opposition force throughout a 34-square mile private ranch in Northwest Colorado.  During this experience, each individual will learn leadership skills, communication, small unit tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), and teamwork while working with the local indigenous forces to conduct small unit missions against the opposition force.  RAGDEVGRU has 20 expertly taught interchangeable modules that can be delivered to fit the needs of each group (see available curriculum).  The beautiful aspen and pine filled valleys and mountains are deceiving and add to the challenges of each mission.

The 34-square mile ranch is known as Ragnarland (RNL).  Through a series of revolutions and civil wars RNL has been divided into two dominant territories; North RNL and South RNL.  Northern RNL armed forces can be identified by their use of black bandanas and the Southern RNL forces and be identified by their use of green bandanas.  The local civilian population and isolated militias and guerilla forces have been known to work on both sides of the equation and are susceptible to economic persuasion.  Local militia and guerilla forces are not identified by any specific garment or color and will need to be carefully vetted and developed to aid each force to victory.  Only the local civilian population of RNL has freedom of movement and can deliver critical supplies and equipment to the northern or southern forces.  It will be imperative to build a strong relationship with the locals and have the backing of their militia in order to attain victory.  Beware, civilians of RNL are opportunists and their loyalty is extremely questionable.  Their motto in Latin means, “We are only as faithful as our options.”

Northern RNL forces are headquartered at a lodge in the north central part of the land.  After years of conflict, the Southern Forces of RNL were pushed back and are now headquartered in a lodge on the southwest section of the land.  There is a demilitarization zone close to the center of RNL that the UN has failed to monitor.  Armed forces from the north and south have vanished crossing either side and unverified rumors suggest they are being detained in a POW camp at an unknown location in RNL.  Cross border operations are extremely dangerous and only the operational militias and guerilla forces seem to know the ratlines and smuggling routes to move people and supplies north and south.

Cross-border special operations with small units will be the key to victory for the north or south in taking out critical nodes and objectives.  Befriending local militia and guerilla forces will be of vital importance in facilitating the missions.  Only the locals can bring more food, water, ammunition, gas, vehicles, horses etc. to each unit.
